The testimony was no different for Esther Monday in Kaduna. She was all smiles as she eagerly talked about her new office. “Initially, family planning was not well accepted here due to so many misconceptions, however, based on the knowledge people are getting on family planning through the awareness created by NURHI, the situation has really improved. Before now, there were no records for FP services carried out in this facility but after the trainings we received from NURHI, our family planning uptake has increased, we see more clients and the concept of family planning has changed because the knowledge of family planning has increased”.
